Welcome to Serenity, Ohio
A Town Unlike Any Other.

The Appalachian Mountains were created several billions of years ago when two continents collided, and tectonic plates moved. Steeped in ancient folklore, the Appalachians rise as a bastion of hope and privacy. These mountains are home to the Appalachian hiking trail and other hiking trails that branch off from the main trail. Trees of pine, oak, hemlock, and maple dot the land across the range. Deer, Elk, Mountain Lions, Black Bears, Brown Bears, and wolves make up the majority of the fauna in the area. The mountains also contain cryptids such as Bigfoot, Skinwalkers, Dogmen, Lizard People, Giant Black Cats, and more, which also call the Appalachians home.
In relation to Serenity, we are in the foothills of the mountain range at 719’ elevation. Home to three state parks, the hills are filled with game for hunting and rivers and lakes for fishing. Camping areas are strung throughout all three state parks, where families can camp and explore caves, forests, and mountain ridges. The parks are a great place for visiting and exploring.
Whether you’re here for family fun, hunting, fishing, or Squatch Watching, the Appalachians have something for everyone. You can rent cabins, you can bring RVs or Campers, and even just your tents for a vacation in nature you won’t soon forget.
