Welcome to Serenity, Ohio
A Town Unlike Any Other.

Call us to book your Squatch Watch experience at 740-777-1433. We can't wait to share our world with you.
The busiest time of year for visitors of Serenity is during the winter months for Squatch Watch. From November 17 to March 17, Sasquatch or Bigfoots come down to the lower elevations of the Appalachians for warmth and feeding. Since 1956, searching for Sasquatch has been a time-honored tradition as the perfect time of year to have the ultimate experience. They are observed mostly around Serenity Lake in the Serenity Hills State Park. Hunting is prohibited during this time. It’s a research expedition to find Sasquatch or Bigfoot hiding in our hills.
Join our Rangers on a journey to learn more about the elusive cryptid history of Sasquatch sightings that goes back before the town was settled. Observe the evidence collected over the years, such as plaster casts of enormous footprints, photos, videos, vocal recordings, and large partial bones of possible Sasquatches found in the forest over the centuries.
You can even hire one of our many guides who can show you the cave systems theorized to be their favorite mode of travel. Leave an offering of food or stones as gifts for them on Sasquatch rock. Search areas that are known to be hotspots. Maybe on your search, you could stumble upon structures or nests made of tree limbs and leaves where a Sasquatch can rest or hide when necessary.
No matter the methods you choose to Squatch Watch, it will be an experience you’ll never forget. What are you waiting for? Book your trip now.
